Rick Taylor brings over 40 years of experience in construction and sales to his role as the founder and President of Hometown Roofing & Construction. A proud lifetime resident of Green, Ohio, Rick graduated from Green High School alongside his wife, Debby. Together, they have built a legacy rooted in family, community, and integrity. They raised their two daughters in Green and now cherish time spent with their two grandchildren.

In 2024, Rick and Debby celebrated 40 years of marriage—a testament to their enduring commitment to each other and the values they bring to every interaction. Rick is known for his genuine character, positive energy, and unwavering dedication to serving others.

Adam Johnson

I’m proud to serve as Vice President of Hometown Roofing & Construction, where I get to blend my small-town roots with big-picture ideas. Growing up in a hardworking, blue-collar family taught me the value of dedication and community, while my time at The Ohio State University gave me the tools to help small businesses grow. Over the last 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping a small Columbus team grow into a multi-state property management leader and worked with nonprofits focused on sustainability. Now, I bring that mix of experience and passion to every project we take on at Hometown.

At home, Kate and I are busy raising our two beautiful kids and volunteering with local animal rescues. I love spending time outdoors with my family and our dogs, whether it’s hiking, playing in the yard, or finding a new place to explore. I also stay connected to the community by volunteering as a treasurer for local nonprofits.

Ryan Sheppard

Since joining the Hometown Roofing & Construction team in early 2023, I have brought a wealth of experience and passion for helping clients bring their projects to life. Born and raised in Wadsworth, I’m deeply connected to the community I serve. With several years in the roofing industry and a strong background in home inspections, commercial inspections, new construction, and code compliance, I’m well-versed in structures of all ages and designs.

Having inspected over 2,000 residential and commercial properties since 2019, I have a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to delivering reasonable, honest solutions tailored to each client’s needs. My priority is ensuring every question is answered, every concern is addressed, and every project is completed to the highest standard.

Bob Zickefoose

As Director of Operations, Bob Zickefoose ensures Hometown Roofing & Construction’s projects run seamlessly. He oversees material sourcing, crew scheduling, and field operations, drawing on over a decade of project management expertise and a background in the rubber and plastic testing industry. Known for his strong communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, Bob is dedicated to providing customers with a smooth home improvement experience.

Bob enjoys listening to podcasts and pursuing his passion as an amateur gastronomer, exploring new culinary adventures with his wife.

Chris Brady

After several years in healthcare, I’ve made the exciting transition into roofing and construction sales. Bringing with me a strong foundation of problem-solving, communication, and customer care. I am passionate about helping clients navigate the often-overwhelming process of home improvement; ensuring that their needs are met with the same level of professionalism and empathy I offered as a nurse.

With a keen eye for quality and a dedication to excellence, I’m committed to delivering superior results for every project. My background in healthcare has shaped my approach to customer service—always focused on building trust, providing clear guidance, and offering support every step of the way. Erik Seldon

With over 12 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry and more than five years in leadership and management, I take pride in overseeing projects with precision, efficiency, and a commitment to quality. As the Construction Manager at Hometown Roofing & Construction, I ensure that every project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. My focus is on problem-solving, team coordination, and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and crew members to deliver exceptional results.

Outside of work, I’m a simple man who enjoys the outdoors, whether it’s hunting, fishing, or just spending time in nature. Most importantly, I value quality time with my wife and our twin boys, making memories together as a family.

Matt Sherman

With over 17 years of experience in the roofing and construction industry, I’ve built a career on dedication, precision, and a true passion for delivering quality work. Whether it’s a roof repair or a full-scale construction project, I believe in treating every detail with care and every client like family.

I’m proud to call Hartville home, where I balance my work with my favorite role—being a husband and father to three amazing kids. When I’m not on the job, you’ll find me enjoying the outdoors, whether it’s hiking, fishing, or just soaking in the beauty of nature with my family.

Blake Burgy

Since 2019, I have been a dedicated and reliable project manager with expertise in roofing, siding, gutters, windows, and more. My professional foundation is further strengthened by my military background, where I developed a disciplined work ethic, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to adapt to any challenge. This experience instilled in me the importance of precision, teamwork, and accountability—qualities I bring to every project.

I also have extensive experience navigating the complexities of the insurance process, ensuring my clients have a smooth and stress-free experience from start to finish. I firmly believe that clear and consistent communication is the cornerstone of a successful client relationship. Zach Seither

With a background in marketing and project consulting, I’m passionate about helping homeowners bring their ideas to life, especially when it comes to custom decks, outdoor living spaces, and large-scale exterior projects. I enjoy combining creativity with strategic planning to turn concepts into functional, beautiful spaces that families can enjoy for years to come.

One of the areas I’ve been most proud to help grow has been outdoor living design, including custom decks, porches, and exterior transformations. I love working closely with homeowners through the consultation and planning process, helping them visualize possibilities while ensuring every detail is thoughtfully managed from preconstruction through final completion. My focus is always on creating a smooth experience, strong communication, and high-quality results.

My marketing background and passion for creative content also allow me to approach projects differently. I enjoy branding, video and photo editing, and finding new ways to showcase transformations and connect with people through storytelling and design.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors golfing, hiking, gardening, and taking care of my property. Most importantly, I love spending time with my wife, daughter, and our Bernese Mountain dogs—and you can almost always find me cheering on Cleveland sports along the way.

Brett Stoffer

I am a Project Manager with 5 years of in-depth experience across residential and commercial roofing, gutter systems, siding, and window & door replacements. I take pride in combining technical knowledge with a customer-focused approach to help homeowners and property owners navigate projects with confidence from start to finish. My expertise includes specialized product knowledge in James Hardie siding systems and commercial roof coatings, allowing me to provide tailored solutions that not only protect properties, but also enhance curb appeal and long-term performance.

What I enjoy most about this industry is bringing ideas to life and helping clients visualize the full potential of their homes and buildings. Whether it’s a complete exterior transformation or a complex restoration project, I’m passionate about delivering quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and an exceptional overall experience throughout every phase of the project.
Outside of work, I enjoy anything that gets me outdoors. When I’m not on a roof, you’ll most likely find me on a bike exploring a mountainside, spending time with family, or enjoying the outdoors whenever I can.

Dominic Anders

With over 13 years of experience in hospitality management, I’ve built my career around leadership, operational excellence, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. My background gives me a well-rounded understanding of both client relations and project execution. I thrive in fast-paced environments where organization, communication, and attention to detail make the difference, and I take pride in leading teams that consistently exceed expectations.

Outside of work, I’m a former high school lacrosse coach who values mentorship, teamwork, and accountability. I bring that same competitive drive and team-first mentality into everything I do professionally. When I’m not working, you’ll find me outdoors—whether it’s fishing at sunrise or spending a day on the golf course. I’m passionate about continuous growth, building strong relationships, and approaching both work and life with energy and purpose.
